At Babta we actively support and encourage environmental practices and the use of responsible methods of production. Part of our commitment to the environment is our yearly internal assessment from Instep.

  • Optimising our supply chain for the best environmental performance in shipping and storage.
  • Minimising consumable waste, managing recycling and reducing toxins.
  • Utilising factories with fair employment, safety and wellbeing practice.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, recover resources and reuse products.
  • Developing products to embrace new environmental technology and design.
  • Our manufactures are accredited with Occupation, Health and Safety GB/T28001-2001 standards.
  • Our non-woven manufacturers work only with inks that have passed the European Council Directive 2002/61/EC. The material used has also passed the European Council Directive 91/338/EEC.
