Babta has the experience to produce packaging for a multitude of food groups. Whether it is a co-extruded pouch for a tough and sub-zero temperature (great for meat, poultry, fish and cheese) or a three-layer barrier foil bag used for coffee packaging, oil or a range of other liquids – we have the product. All of our products are made from Food Grade Certified materials.
Babta has established itself in the design, innovation and quality of food packaging. We understand our customer's need to have packaging that gets attention! Babta is proud to be able to produce products that do just that.
By using gravure print, Babta can print up to 8 colours with various finishing laminations, as well as multiple bag constructions. There are Fin Seals, Quad Seals, Zip Locks, Stand-up Pouches, Flat Pouches or just a Flow Wrap for those who have filling and bag making facilities. Most of the bags can be made with Side Gussets (except the stand-up pouch which has a bottom gusset) and can have de-gassing Valves and pourers added. Ultimately achieving the wow packaging that catches the customers' eye every time.
Sealed on the four corners of the bag, rather than the back, the quad seal bag offers four crisp, clean panels for labels and graphic placement and an overall strong shelf presence.
It’s important to consider the product, or products, you will package. Most items need protection from the effects of oxygen, moisture, light, infestation, odor, etc. Products can be sensitive to one or a combination of these, and therefore require packaging that is designed to resist a specific combination of factors.
Babta's Stand-up Pouch is constructed from high barrier clear and foil laminates to protect products from oxygen and moisture. Customised features like zipper reclosure, tear notches, the versatility of hang-hole features, strong shelf presence and an attractive billboard for label and graphics are also available.

Flow Wrap is used throughout many industries to form Stand-up Pouches, Side Gusseted bags, Flat Pouches, and other package formats.
The Side Gusset bag is the recognised format for coffee packaging today. It is also widely used in other markets such as, pet food, powders goods, teas and other specialty food products.
Babta's Valve has high performance and its unique one-piece design allows it to use over 35% less plastic compared to other two-piece designs on the market.

Andrew required a bag that was going to carry his branding and make sure it stood out on the shelf.
Our discussions started with looking at the artwork that needed to be put onto the bag, and from there we designed the bags dimensions, valve position, seals and lamination finish.
Part of our service to Roasted Addiqtion is Account Management and inventory control. By taking into account different times of the year, promotions and increase in volumes we are able to roll the orders through in JIT management....

Eden required a bag that was going to carry his branding and be of the standard that would keep the freshness of the roasted coffee beans.
We worked together through the artwork process, and from there we designed the bag's dimensions, valve position, seals and lamination finish; to suit his 1kg bag.
Account Management and inventory controlled by Babta mean that Eden are able to concentrate on what they do best; roasting coffee. By taking into account different times of the year, promotions and increase in volumes we are able to ensure a continual supply of Eden packaging....

Sue and Lee were looking at opening a lolly shop based on English lollies and came to see us for carry bags. After talking through their ideas we came up with the complete packaging solution, not only just the carry bags.
The products needed to be packed, so we suggested a clear laminated printed food grade bag to display the lollies best. Working with them and our graphic designer we were able to continue the design through to the plastic and the non-woven bags, thus giving the “London Lolly Shop” its best visual marketing. ...
